Step into History: The SC250 Exhibit will Bring Revolutionary War to Life at 2025 South Carolina State Fair.
Visitors to this year’s South Carolina State Fair will have the rare opportunity to walk through history when SC250, the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission, unveils an immersive new exhibit honoring our state’s critical role in the American Revolution.
Set for October 8–19, the exhibit invites fair guests to step into the shoes of Patriots and Loyalists as they explore South Carolina’s place at the heart of America’s fight for independence. From Fort Moultrie in 1776 to Evacuation Day in 1782, South Carolina witnessed more than 400 battles and skirmishes—more than any other colony—during the Southern Campaign. This is where the war was won.
The SC250 exhibit will be located in the Ruff Building, located next to the rocket, offering a dynamic and engaging space for fairgoers of all ages to learn, interact, and explore.
