A forensic science educational program modeled to ultimately discover the name of a Revolutionary War Soldier grave discovered on a South Carolina battlefield.
Participants will use Battlefield Archaeology, Bio-Archaeology, Forensic Anthropology, Historic Documents, and even a working DNA lab demonstration to solve the puzzle. This model exercises activities that parallel the ongoing work to identify remains of Revolutionary War human remains found at Camden Battlefield after the Patriot defeat on August 16, 1780.
