National Scrollathon

October 14 - October 16, 2025
| 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Exhibits | Charleston County
The National Scrollathon is America’s Cultural Project for the 250th anniversary — a living portrait of creativity, resilience, and connection. The Scrollathon mission is simple: to Unite America through storytelling and community.
The Gibbes is pleased to host the National Scrollathon for South Carolina and we need you! Join us for one of these amazing workshops to become a part of a nationally-collaborative work of art. Each workshop is one hour and each participant will create a unique, commemorative scroll to take home and be a part of a larger work that will be unveiled at the Gibbes in April 2026. It is FREE to participate, but advanced registration is required.
