“Family History & Connections with Francis Marion” (“A Glorious Cause” series)

*Part of “A Glorious Cause: South Carolina and the American Revolution: A Public History Initiative by the Georgetown County Library,” Thomas Keith Gourdin will offer a personal account as one of General Francis Marion’s descendants. Gourdin is the great-great-great nephew of the “Swamp Fox” and he will trace his family’s connections to the famous American military leader and share scintillating tales passed down through family channels.
The project is made possible by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) administered by the South Carolina State Library (SCSL).
