Get ready to step back in time and celebrate the birthday of America’s first president, George Washington, with an exciting event packed with activities for kids of all ages!
• Cake & Treats: Start the day by enjoying delicious birthday cake, celebrating George Washington’s big day in style.
• Colonial Tea Party: Sip on some colonial tea and experience how people in George Washington’s time celebrated with friends and family.
• Millinery Crafting: Where did they get their clothes from and what was fashionable? Join us to take a closer look!
• Quill & Ink Writing: Take a seat at our writing table and try your hand at writing like they did in colonial times, using a quill and ink. Imagine how George Washington wrote his letters and create your own historical masterpiece.
• Coloring Activity: Young artists will love our coloring station with colonial-themed pictures to color and take home as a souvenir.
