Our Favorite Cookbooks – historical interpreters at Brattonsville serve up a series of special Living History Saturdays that focus on cookbooks from the 18th and 19th centuries. Our Favorite Cookbooks feature open-hearth cooking using recipes, or ‘receipts’, highlighting dishes from prominent cookbooks along with activities that reflect the era of publication.
