This event (like our past Revolutionary War Days) supports S250 to engage South Carolinians and visitors. We will have activities for all ages including but not limited to games, scholarly lectures, and hands-on projects. We focus on the importance of the American Revolution while paying special attention to how South Carolina was involved. One of our most popular activities of the past (we bring it back every year) is when people are able to sign their names with a quill pen just like our founding fathers. This is explained to visitors by having a large, framed copy of the Declaration of Independence.
