Ringleaders of Rebellion: Charleston in Revolt, 1775-1783 Opening Keynote and Reception

The Charleston Museum invites the community to join in a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution on Friday January 30th, 2026. This historic celebration will begin in the Arthur M. Wilcox Auditorium with remarks from Carl Borick, Director of the Charleston Museum. Immediately following, the Museum will host a celebratory reception in its main lobby for the opening of its newest exhibition, Ringleaders of Rebellion: Charleston in Revolt, 1775 – 1783. Guests are invited to visit the Historic Textiles Gallery for an exclusive first look at this special exhibit on Revolutionary War history and 18th century material culture in the Lowcountry.
Registration required. Tickets include Director’s talk, reception featuring light hors d’oeuvres and libations, and exclusive first access to Ringleaders of Rebellion.
Museum Members $45 | Non-members $60
Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be requested 48 hours in advance for a refund minus $10 administration fee. Full registration fee may be transferred to other adult programs. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeiture of registration fee.
