Special Preview of The American Revolution: A film by Ken Burns

Please join South Carolina ETV and Public Radio, in partnership with the College of Charleston and SC250, in welcoming celebrated, award-winning filmmaker Ken Burns to Charleston for an exclusive preview of the new series, The American Revolution, directed by Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt. This special event will include a screening of excerpts from the upcoming documentary (airing on SCETV beginning on November 16), followed by a discussion moderated by SCETV President and CEO Adrienne Fairwell with Burns, Dr. Kathleen DuVal of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Dr. Walter Edgar, noted South Carolina historian and host of Walter Edgar’s Journal.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, at 7:00 PM at the Sottile Theatre in Charleston.
