The final resting place of General Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox, is on what used to be his brother’s plantation. Belle Isle Plantation Cemetery is in Berkeley County north of Lake Moultrie. There are several plaques, signs and markers that describe the man, the soldier and the patriot. Remember the Swamp Fox!
