The South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission (SC250), in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Archives & History, invites South Carolinians to “Meet the Funders” on Friday, October 11 at 11 a.m.

This free event, open to the public, offers organizations and individuals interested in grant funding to meet and learn from grant administrators spanning multiple state and national entities and sectors.

Participants will hear from grant administrators representing state agencies including SC250, South Carolina Department of Archives & History, South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism, South Carolina Humanities, SC State Library, and the South Carolina Arts Commission; as well as the National Parks Service and the Institute of Museum & Library Services.

“Meet the Funders” will serve as a resource for those seeking funding for historical, cultural, recreational or community-based projects. Representatives will share details on available grants and application processes, and there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

The event will be held at the South Carolina Department of Archives & History, located at 8301 Parklane Road in Columbia, S.C. Attendees can choose to participate in-person or virtually, enabling participation from across the state.
