A panel of speakers will give short presentations on eleven of the known battles and skirmishes that took place from 1780 to 1782 in what is today, Newberry County:
- Brierly’s/Shirer’s Ferry, November 18, 1780;
- William’s Plantation/Mud Lick Creek, March 2, 1781;
- Dugan’s Place/Indian Creek, December 14, 1780;
- Camping Creek, April,1781;
- Clark’s Ford, April 3, 1781;
- Battle at Watkins, February 2, 1781;
- Bush River 1 & 2, May 1781;
- Sandy Run Creek, July 1781;
- Lorick’s Ferry, September 18,1782.
Presentations will be followed by a Question-and-Answer period.
