245th Battle Anniversary Commemoration – Kings Mountain National Military Park

On this day Kings Mountain National Military Park will fully open for the morning, to commemorate the anniversary of the battle. This program will feature a wreath laying ceremony at 11:00 AM and remarks from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). At 3:00 PM the Overmountain Victory Trail Association will complete their Annual Commemorative March in the park, which will then be followed by a special presentation on the battle.
