Backcountry Revolution Trail Grand Opening

Join us for the press conference and launch of the Backcountry Revolution Trail on June 23 at 10:00 AM at the Revolutionary War Visitor Center in Camden, South Carolina.
This event will officially introduce the Backcountry Revolution Trail and highlight the work of our county 250 committees. Guests will be able to visit informational booths representing participating counties and learn more about local Revolutionary War history and preservation efforts.
Light refreshments will be provided, and local vendors will also be on site. We hope you’ll join us for this special announcement and celebration of our shared history.
The Olde English District promotes the counties of Chester, Chesterfield, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lancaster, Union, and York. The organization supports tourism, economic development, and regional storytelling through destination marketing, regional partnerships, and collaborative initiatives that highlight the area’s unique history, culture, and outdoor assets.
As part of the South Carolina 250th anniversary commemoration, the Olde English District is working closely with and supporting each county’s SC250 committee by assisting with the promotion, coordination, and awareness of local events and initiatives.
