Carolina Days in Chester County

June 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Free

Join us for a special day of remembrance and Revolutionary history as we honor those from our area who played a role in shaping America’s story. Experience history where it happened through presentations, living history elements, and monument dedications recognizing local Revolutionary War connections.

Throughout the afternoon, explore blacksmith demonstrations and period displays on the grounds, offering a glimpse into daily life during the Revolutionary era.

Inside the church, hear historians share the story of the Battle of Sullivan’s Island and discover the connections and individuals from our own community who helped shape this pivotal moment in history.

The afternoon will continue with two special monument dedications honoring Revolutionary War soldiers buried in our area:
* 3:00–4:00 PM — Monument dedication at Union Cemetery, including a wreath laying ceremony and honor guard
* 4:00–5:00 PM — Monument dedication at Burnt Meeting House Cemetery, including a wreath laying ceremony and honor guard

Be a part of it. Experience the history, honor the sacrifices, and stand on the same ground where our community’s Revolutionary story continues to be remembered.
