Family Revolutionary Sunday: Surrender!

As 2026 draws to a close, so do our Family Revolutionary Sundays. Learn how the British were finally beaten and what the aftereffects of Cornwallis’s surrender were in Charleston. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, The Charleston Museum is hosting a series of family programs called Revolutionary Sundays throughout 2026. These free with admission or Museum membership programs will explore different themes, events, and people from the Revolutionary War. Revolutionary Sundays include a class or guided tour and a craft or activity.
