December 4th 2026 at noon The City of North Myrtle Beach will celebrate the 250 anniversary of the United States of America by unveiling a live oak that will henceforth be known as the City of North Myrtle Beach’s Liberty Tree.

The Yaupon Garden Club and the NMB Tree Board are sponsoring the event which will serve as the City’s Arbor Day Celebration.

This community event will be held at Mclean Park located in the heart of North Myrtle Beach.
