In 1983, the nearby 18th century Guillebeau homestead was relocated to Hickory Knob State Park and restored to its original design. Guests may now stay in this historic cabin. The cemetery is Sgt. Andre Guillebeau’s final resting place, builder of the home. He last served under Capt. Joseph Bouchillon in Bordeaux Company, Upper Ninety-Six Regiment.
