Calhoun County Carolina Days: American Revolution @ The Purple Martin Festival

We are excited to announce that the Calhoun County 250 Committee will present “The American Revolution in South Carolina- Carolina Days” at the Purple Martin Festival Saturday April 18th in the Magnolia and Purple Martin rooms at the Calhoun County Library. This exhibit will share a few of the displays that debuted at the American Revolution Discovery Center at the State Fair this past fall.

The display will be opened to ALL to enjoy! Some of the displays will share information on the Women, African American, Native American and Men who fought for Liberty that formed the United States of America. You will learn about the American and British Leaders during the Southern Campaign. We will have special guests for the Lee County 250 Committee to tell more about their display of African American Patriots.
