Join Erskine College for a special celebration of America’s 250th anniversary on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the historic Salem Black River Presbyterian Church near Mayesville, South Carolina.
Co-sponsored by Salem Black River Presbyterian Church, Sumter 250, Sumter Museum, and the Charter Institute at Erskine, this commemorative event will honor the American Revolution through inspiring readings and musical performances.
Following the program, there will be an outdoor celebration with light refreshments and activities for all ages.
Salem Black River Presbyterian Church has strong historical ties to the American Revolution, making it a meaningful setting for this celebration.
