Dedication of Commodore Alexander Gillon Gravesite. In 1794, the land was home to Commodore Alexander Gillon, and today it is his final resting place. The SC250 and SCBPT acquired the property to preserve the site for future generations so that they may visit it and learn about Commodore Gillon and the impact that he had on the War for Independence.
