Revolutionary War Review Homeschool Friday – Battle of Port Royal Island, SC

October 2 – Battle of Port Royal Island, SC (Feb. 3, 1779).

We are talking about the Battle of Port Royal Island that was fought on February 3, 1779. We will go over the units and leaders involved before exploring how the battle unfolded. Then, we will look at how this affected the larger war effort.

As a part of our celebrations and remembrances during the 250th, the Anderson County Museum is adding a series to our Homeschool Friday program.

The Revolutionary War Review series will focus on several elements of the Revolutionary War and is open to all students.
