“We Declare: A Revolutionary Adventure for Kids”

The Issaqueena Chapter, NSDAR, in collaboration with The Greenwood Museum, is holding a fun, interactive event for children on Friday, June 26, to bring the story of the Declaration of Independence to life.

Children will have the opportunity to make a tricorn hat, hear a fun story about the Declaration of Independence, meet Louie — the canine star of “Celebrate America! The People Declare Independence,” see spinning wheel demonstrations of wool and flax, and sign a replica of The Declaration just our Founding Fathers did.

The museum’s new exhibit, “Road to Revolution in the Upstate,” also will be open.

Light refreshments and patriotic treat bags will be available for children.
