SUMMARY:Revolutionary War Siege Lines Walking Tour with Director Carl Borick
DESCRIPTION:Join Carl P. Borick\, Director of The Charleston Museum and author of A Gallant Defense: The Siege of Charleston\, 1780\, as he leads a tour to some of the key points related to the Revolutionary War Siege of Charleston\, the longest siege of the war and largest battle fought in South Carolina. The area to be toured\, now an urban landscape interspersed with pleasant city parks was once the site of vicious fighting between besieging British troops and Patriot defenders during April – May 1780. Reservations required. Cancellations must be requested 48 hours in advance for a refund minus $10 administration fee. Full registration fee may be transferred to other adult programs. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeiture of tour fee. \n$40 Museum Members | $55 Non-Members

SUMMARY:Divided Loyalties: A Walk Through the Revolutionary War at Palmetto Bluff
DESCRIPTION:On April 13th\, the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy and Palmetto Bluff Archaeology will partner with South Carolina 250 (SC250) to mark the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and the 245th anniversary of the death of Richard “Tory Dick” Pendarvis with a special walking tour honoring the residents of May River Neck (current-day Palmetto Bluff)\, often-overlooked role in the war. This special event costs $40 per person\, and proceeds will be used for cemetery restoration work in Palmetto Bluff cemeteries. Space is limited. To register\, email info@pbconservancy.org.
