Carolina Day

A family fun event featuring patriotic music, reenactors, demonstrations, games and food trucks.

Demonstrations include:

• Quill writing and cording – Karen and Bill Williamson
• Hand quilting – Kathy Koon
• Chair caning – Harriet Smith
• Portable forge and blacksmithing – Shawn Elis
• Spinning wheel demonstration by Kylie Cunningham

Lots of games, craft make and takes, Revolutionary exhibit by the Anderson County Museum with dressed Revolutionary mannequin, lots of photo opportunities.

GAMAC’s Big Band will be playing patriotic music starting at 2 p.m. and the ringing of many county and church bells at 2:50 p.m.
